SOLOMON RUSEN With deep sadness the family announces the death of Sol Rusen on December 10, 1999 at his home in Newmarket, Ontario. Sol was born in Winnipeg, and received his degree in law from the University of Toronto. For the past ten years he practiced law as an Assistant Crown Attorney in Newmarket. Sol will be profoundly missed by his loving wife Megan Paul and his beloved daughters, Hannah and Rachel. He was the cherished youngest son of Edith Rusen and the late Dr. Samuel Rusen of Winnipeg, and a dear brother to Marcia Rusen of Toronto; Daniel and Stephanie Rusen of Richmond, B.C.; and, Dr. David Rusen of California. Sol was close to, and will be missed by his mother-in-law Evelyn Paul of Toronto, and his father-in-law Dr. William Paul of Toronto; all his sisters and brothers-in-law, and extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews throughout North America. The family wishes to thank a large community of friends and colleagues for their unending support of Sol throughout his two year battle with Melanoma. Private interment. Memorial service Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Court House in Newmarket. The family is compiling a memory book for the future. For those who wish to contribute, we would appreciate a favourite anecdote, story, picture or memory in writing. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
